Karl is off on his epic semi-crossing of Canada with ‘The Flowers of Hell’ Canadian Tour – sounds worse than it is, honest!

Our No.1 controller Karl is off to do 2 of his biggest loves – music and stupidly long drives!

Not having done a drive of this magnitude since Helsinki to Lisbon with an exhibition in 2004 Karl has been asked to manage the tour and drive. At the last minute he has been asked to fill in on guitar, bass and keyboard duties.

We wish him luck with the 5,500 miles from Toronto to Vancouver and back in a Winnebago, May 4th to May 22nd 2009.

The Flowers of Hell are described as ‘Trans-Atlantic Neo-Classical Space-Rock’. They are Toronto and London based band and feature musicians from the likes of Bat for Lashes, British Sea Power, Broken Social Scene, Patti Smith Group to name a few. They are heavily influenced by the likes of the Velvet undergorund, David Bowie and modern acts like My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth and Mogwai.
